Network Marketing Entrepreneur

There are two types of entrepreneurs in the world. One who chooses to start from scratch with their own ideas and their own unique system and product they choose to introduce to the marketplace. On the other hand there are those entrepreneurs who would rather choose to work with in a framework of a system that is already created. Both have the same ends in mind. For the most part, entrepreneurs desire and strive to work outside the traditional system of working for someone else, to solely build someone else's dream.

The first type of entrepreneur or commonly known as a business owner, takes great risk with his idea, hoping that it will catch on in the desired marketplace and grow in popularity. Another type of entrepreneur is the Franchisee or Network Marketer, who works within an existing framework of a company. This allows them the freedom of being an Entrepreneur, without going through a lot of the set up that is required to start a business. Insurance, licensing and other requirements are handled by the parent company and with only a few basic guidelines the Network Marketer is free to do as they please.

There are many advantages the Network Marketer has over the traditional entrepreneur, in most cases marketing tools like training is provided, start up cost is minimized and much more. Both the Entrepreneur and the Network marketer are able to avoid the restrictions of corporate life and for many, this is all the incentive one requires to choose the non-corporate path.

Ok, now for the real facts, both a traditional business owner and a Network Marketer are considered entrepreneurs. The primary difference outside of the business model, Networkers tend to function as networkers and entrepreneurs function as business owners. A true entrepreneur uses fundamental laws and principles to build a sustainable business. They tend to build businesses that are capable of maneuvering the ups of downs of business, economic conditions and technological advances. A true entrepreneur does what it takes to build and sustainable business, stays the course and is very focused. They choose to OWN their business and accept responsibility for their business.

Many Network Marketers tend to be good at networking, however at some time they have to develop the fundamentals to build a true business. Many tend to rely on someone else to build their business, fail to accept responsibility for their business, and quit at the earliest times of things failing to go their way.

Dr. Napoleon Hill tells the story of how RU Darby and how they quit mining three feet from gold. Entrepreneurs find a way to overcome challenges and always stay the course. They seek advice and continuosly focus on learning and bettering themselves.

Bottom line, Network Marketing WORKS! Networkers are able to succeed. Entrepreneurs build sustainable and long lasting businesses! Choose to be an entrepreneur and be successful in Network Marketing!

Knowing YOUR PURPOSE

One of the most important parts of any person, especially successful people’s lives, is knowing what their purpose is. This is more than just knowing what you need to do on a daily basis in the workforce. It resonates in the core of a person knowing what God has placed into them on earth for. This may be different for everybody and for me, it is the ability to help others elevate their life.

No matter what we do in life there is a price to be paid by our choices. Being able to assist people in seeing what needs to be accomplished and how to go about it, has been a calling of mine. There are a lot of terms out there for successful people in all walks of life and the ones that are really successful are able to bring people up with you. They are teachers. Look at the late great Coach John Wooden for example. As much as Wooden was a Coach, first and foremost he was a teacher to all who knew him and his purpose was clear to him early on.

Knowing your purpose allows you to be the very best that you are able to be, in all aspects of your life. It provides clarity during times of challenge and is a grounding point to weather the storm with. Knowing your purpose is one of the most valuable tools you are able to possess on your journey through life, in both good and challenging times. Choose time to find your purpose in life. Be blessed,

Honor Yourself

When you honor yourself and live according to your values, you live your life with purpose.

We live in a world that is constantly bombarding us with messages of how we are able to be better, look better, do more and have more. We are reminded of things that we think we should have, and all that is out there in the world, at the moment. Many times this creates feelings of “feeling less than”, within us. It is best to remember all that we have and all that we are. When we focus on our deficiencies, we tend to magnify them and take away from the true gifts that we have been given by our Creator.

Everyday choose time to appreciate who you are and the gifts you have. Utilize your skills and see how the world changes around you. Do the best your capable of and quit comparing yourself to others and the world will open to you in a new and amazing way with more opportunities and blessings. This is the way of the Warrior. It is easy to look out and see things in others that are better than our selves, failing to realize just how magnificent we truly are. God gave each of us a gift that is our own uniqueness and abilities. A truly “successful” person realizes this and is able to embrace these qualities in ourselves. Are you asking yourself if there is an alternative or a different way to live or be? Being authentic requires the courage to face your personal truth. When you are authentic, you are being true to your innermost self. When you go on your authentic journey, you begin to leave behind the tension of being who you think other people want you to be.

This leads to knowing who you are and being true to it. It releases positive energy and enables you to achieve the deepest goals, dreams, aspirations, and ambitions that may have been suppressed from childhood. Authentic transformation focuses your energy on what you choose to have and to avoid areas of unwanted compromise in your life.

Living authentically, in its simplest terms, is living in your truth. Warriors understand and honor this truth. Living authentically brings out your truth in your heart, soul, and your authentic center. It allows you to be guided by divine truth and wisdom each and every day. It is living your greatest and most authentic life in the world. It is joyfully creating and living your highest purpose.

Honoring ourselves and choosing time to embrace just how great we are. It is through this realization we are able to honor one’s self and reach new heights and goals.

Lessons From Home

There are a lot of great lessons that we learn as a kid. Unfortunately the combination of youth and our ego tend to be in the way of applying those lessons down the road the way they were meant to be used. Three lessons that were particularly valuable thru life that have made a difference in the success of this warrior have been;

1. 1. Being the best of what you are capable of being. This means in a simpler term doing the best we are able to, with the God given skills that we have and developing those skills.

2. 2. My father always said, "Why do people always have time to go and re-do something? Always focus on doing things right the first time." Do it right the first time. There is no advantage in doing a job so fast or so sloppy that we will need to do it later. By doing a job right the first time will save us time and possibly money down the road.

3. 3. The third lesson that has been extremely valuable to me, is to place yourself in a position that you are able to enjoy life now and enjoy this very present moment. Often is the case where people work their entire life in hopes of doing things when they retire only to find that they are either physically or financially unable to do what they had planned on doing. By establishing and living life on your terms you are able to have so much more out of what life has to offer.

Being The Best YOU Are!

All too often we set the bar at being the absolute best. Terms like best in the world or the very best are the standards that we aim for. We are constantly striving to be better than the other person. This is especially true in the workforce where we feel the constant need to compete. Although these may be admirable goals, there is a better option that we are able to shoot for.

Being the best we can be is a better way of approaching all that we do. When we simply focus on ourself and doing the best of our abilities, we honor ourselves. When we honor ourselves, we honor those around us.

Coaches John Wooden and Dale Brown both Hall of Fame Coaches never focused on being the best. They merely focused upon being the best they could be. Coach Wooden believed that if you can do your best and give it your all, being the best you can be at the end of the night regardless of the score you are a winner. All too often we are focused on someone else and we let our ego be in the way of being our true authentic self. Instead it is better to focus on the “us” and doing the best we can do individually. Comparisons to others fails to create and empower the very best in our self. By being the best we are able to be and helping others be the best they are able to be, we are able to accomplish more than one is able to imagine.

Are you ready to live your great Warrior journey?

THE MOMENT

All too often we are caught up in one of two situations. We either are caught up in our past thinking about mistakes that we have made and defining ourselves by that, or past accomplishments and defining ourselves by that. The other scenario that many find them in, is focusing on the future.

What is more important and what those that are truly successful do is live in the moment. It is easy to be caught looking in the rear view mirror at our past or with all of our attention on the future. By staying in the moment we are able to give all of ourselves to what we are doing. We perform better in the moment, because we have more clarity and focus. It is easy to be caught looking ahead, when we do that, we lose the ability to appreciate the real journey towards our destination. Staying in the moment is crucial in being authentic and it is probably the most difficult challenge we face. By staying in the moment we are able to relieve stress and truly enjoy what we have and are doing.

Choose time to "be" in the experience, instead of constantly looking ahead. Life will create a whole new dimension, when we stay in the moment. Enjoyment is at its fullest in the moment and experiencing what you are doing.

Enjoy this very moment!

FAILURE

For many, failure can be one of the largest road blocks to living a truly happy and successful life. The fear of failure can lead to embarrassment, the disapproval of friends and family, and a decrease in self worth. Failure in our world today is looked at in the wrong context. Instead of fearing failure one may choose to have a different outlook on it. Embracing it and all that it stands for.

Failure is something that many of the brightest and most successful people embrace instead of shying away from. Learn from your mistakes or failures. It is a lesson to learn from and allows you to look at new ways of achieving your goals and aspirations.

No great discovery was ever accomplished without failure at some point. It was through failure that some of the best ideas and successes were realized. We would not have the light bulb or telephone today, if the inventor’s realization to accept failure as a way of discovery. Just like a child learns from his mistakes in school, failure should be looked at as a teacher. One must realize it is acceptable to fail as long as you continue forward toward your ultimate end. Failure is able to paralyze us or inspire us. It is up to us to decide how we will utilize failure in our lives. Greatness is able to come out of failure when we look at it the right way and use it to our advantage.

Go fail, learn from it and then go SUCCEED!

Vi Education!

I was thinking the other day about how much of our life we spend in a classroom. Did you know that the average person spends over 14,000 hours in a classroom from Kindergarten to the 12th grade?

What's crazy is that much of that time we really fail to learn much, that is applicable to the real world. OK, OK. I will stay off of an educational system rant right now. You get what I am saying.

What I think you might love about ViSalus, beyond the obvious health and financial benefits, is the education people are receiving. There is a lot to be learned about entrepreneurship, communication, health, business, leadership and really growing as a person. It is an exciting side-effect that many people receive when they start the Challenge.

I have always been a firm believer in the saying, "You become like the people you choose to be around". I used to never really looked in the mirror or at the people who were around me every day. Let's just say that I'm excited about all the new friends and mentors I have found.
